Does Orbit work without an internet connection?
Yes. Orbit is fully offline-first. Everything — routines, streaks, the orb, notifications — works without a network. iCloud sync uses the connection when it's available and silently catches up later.
Will my streak break if I miss a day?
Not if you have freezes available. Orbit hands out freezes as you build longer streaks, and spends them automatically on missed days. The goal is consistency over weeks and months — not punishing one rough Tuesday.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → Orbit → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
I bought Lifetime. Will I keep getting updates?
Yes. Lifetime includes every future update for the Orbit app on the iOS platform. No exceptions.
I want to delete all my data. How?
In Orbit: Profile → Data → Delete everything. This wipes the local store and, if iCloud sync is on, removes your iCloud Orbit container. Uninstalling the app also removes the local store.
Is Orbit good for people without ADHD?
Yes — it's designed for ADHD brains, but the principles (forgiving streaks, calm defaults, low friction) make it work well for anyone who's been burnt out by aggressive habit trackers.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. The orb relies on Apple's Metal shaders and SwiftUI Canvas, which don't have direct equivalents on Android. We may revisit this in 2027.
Can I sync with my Mac or iPad?
iPhone is the focus right now. Because Orbit uses CloudKit, an iPad/Mac version could share data later — but we want to nail the iPhone experience first.
How do I export my routines?
Profile → Data → Export. You get a JSON file you can save, mail to yourself, or keep as a backup.
I'd love feature X. Will you build it?
Maybe — write to hello@groot-apps.com. Every email is read by a human. Most of Orbit's best features came from user requests.
